Murder, Related Charges Filed In Delco Store Worker's Killing

CRUM LYNNE, PA — Homicide and related charges have been filed in connection with the fatal shooting of a Delaware County business employee. According to Ridley Township Police, the shooting death of a worker at Empire Smoke Shop & Phones, 1418 Chester Pike in Crum Lynne, occurred on Friday last week. Homicide, murder, and firearm charges have been filed against Shawn Williams, 39, of Chester. Williams was denied bail and is scheduled for a Jan. 24 preliminary hearing. Police said Williams came into the store, shot and killed the worker, then left the area. Action News identified the victim as Sameer Adbullah.
