LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Fire Department is again asking for Angelenos' help selecting their Photo of the Year. You may click here to see the photos and cast your vote. The selection of photos includes LA firefighters on the scene of brush fires, water rescues, structure fires, and other calls for service. "A powerful photograph captures both the eye and the imagination," the LAFD said on the voting website. "It speaks to one moment in time, capturing a scene and communicating it in a way no words can match. The Los Angeles Fire Department is fortunate to have so many photographers entrust us with their work so we can, in turn, share the work of our members with the world. In 2020, the first 'LAFD Photo of the Year' competition highlighted some of the tremendous images taken throughout the year with three selected as winners by a public vote. We are honored to share these photos so you can vote and select the 2021 LAFD Photo of the Year." Voting ends Dec. 24.
