Here are the top stories in Beaverton today: Here's the latest on the League of Oregon Cities executive director whose harsh comments about fast-food workers and profanity-laced responses drew the displeasure of Mayor Lacey Beaty. Mike Cully, who had been in his position for four years, submitted his resignation and apologized to the mayor. The League met on Monday night and voted unanimously to accept Cully's resignation and issued a press release condemning his behavior.
