Davis is set to be put down 12/23 if a home is not found. His finder spent time with him sitting outside, he liked her a lot. He even rolled onto his back with a loose wagging tail and allowed belly rubs and scratches from the finder. Finder was able to walk on leash and lift to truck.. Davis trusted her enough to show his most vulnerable side to a complete stranger and even allowed her to pick him up! His most recent notes have him at gate tail wagging and happy to see the familiar handler. He approached for petting and treats. He is treat motivated. Which is useful when working with dogs. He even climbs into handlers lap to solicit attention. (He weighs 89 pounds) He must be in of needed lovins and felt safe enough to do that! We do not know how Davis is with other dogs, as the shelter is not doing dog evaluations currently, but he did approach his neighbor’s kennels with tail wags and a whine. Call or text
