Press release from the City of Stow: 2021-12-21 The City of Stow and Cuyahoga Falls collected gifts for the children impacted by the catastrophic tornadoes this month in Kentucky.  Thousands of new, unwrapped gifts including toys, books and electronics for children age's birth to 18 years old were dropped off at Stow and Cuyahoga Falls City Halls. The TTR Shipping truck will arrive at Stow City Hall around 11am today to begin loading for departure at Noon, with a send-off from Mayor Pribonic and Mayor Walters. The mayors of both cities would like to thank the residents for their generosity, TTR Shipping who volunteered a truck and driver to transport all of the gifts to Kentucky, and ACME Fresh Market for packing materials. Those who wish to still make financial contributions can do so by visiting www.HelpSalvationArmy.org, by calling 800-SAL-ARMY and designating "KY Tornado Relief" with financial gifts, or by texting 52000 to donate $10 through cell phone bills.  The Salvation Army uses 100 percent of disaster donations to support relief efforts.         This press release was produced by the City of Stow.
