Introduction to Reiki - First degree class: Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) means the universal life force energy that resides within and around all living things. Reiki is a gentle, yet powerful, non-invasive healing practice that affects your entire being by enhancing the natural ability of your body and mind to move toward greater balance and harmony. In this First Degree Reiki workshop you will learn the fundamentals of the Traditional Usui Method of natural healing. The focus is on daily self-practice so you can immediately begin to use this peaceful approach to bring balance and flow into your life. Class includes the history of Reiki, its applications and how to conduct a hands-on treatment on yourself and others. You will receive four energetic attunements during class, necessary to raise your vibration, activate the Reiki energy and become a life-long channel. No prior experience is required.
