Stevenson Consulting, Inc. is a full service engineering consulting firm serving the Mid-Atlantic and South regions of the US since 1984. We are looking for a full time CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TECHNICIAN to join our Columbia, MD team. As a Construction Materials Technician you will ensure materials on the project meet standards required by engineering plans and specs. Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to: Observing, performing density and moisture testing Sampling soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt according to applicable standards Preparing field reports and assisting with laboratory testing Daily interaction with clients and team members Required: High school diploma or equivalent WACEL and/or ACI certifications Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly Ability to climb ladders Ability to work off-shift hours, including weekends Valid driver’s license, with satisfactory driving history required Reliable transportation Highly organized Good written and oral communication This position is full time, offering a competitive compensation package to commensurate with experience.
