An apartment community in Hinckley, MN, is looking for a reliable part-time maintenance person. 1.) Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs on apartments, townhomes and buildings or property. 2.) Maintain a maintenance log for each unit and buildings ex: painting, major or minor repairs or replacements etc. 3.) Inspect and maintain all common interior and exterior lighting, including emergency and exit lights. 4.) Maintain exterior light posts and car posts. Re-set timer for exterior lighting as needed. 5.) Maintain common area windows, screens and doors. 6.) Change filters in make-up air units. 7.) Fill water softeners when needed. 8.) Check boiler operation and pressure during cold weather. 9.) Switch from one circulating heat pump to the other. 10.) Touch-up paint in common areas in buildings as needed. 11.) Maintain original keyboard for all apartments and townhomes. 12.) Check fire alarm systems for proper operations. Re-set when needed on false alarms. 13.) Assist in maintaining dumpster & trash cans to keep free of debris & empty trash cans.
