Shine A Blind is a busy, growing business located in Edmonds, WA. We’re looking to expand our team by hiring dependable individuals who are willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Family-owned and operated for 30 years, we have an established presence and clientele to sustain further growth. We're looking for an individual who will show up on time, communicate well, and take pride in their work. Blind installation experience is not necessary; we can train you on product information, but simple carpentry experience is very helpful. We will provide the necessary tools. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing service and customer support in the area of blind installation and repair. Some of the tasks of this position include: • Traveling to customers’ homes and businesses in company vehicles to perform a variety of services such as window covering installation and repair • Document service and installation actions by completing online job tickets at the time of completion. • Willingness to work as a member of a team. • Follow all company procedures and protocols. Occasionally, light ladder work is required. Travel time from the office to the job site is paid. You will be part of a 2-person crew. The schedule is determined by the customer’s needs. Generally, hours are between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday, but occasionally a contractor needs us at a job site as early as 6 am, and sometimes we have to be in a healthcare facility after 6 pm. The successful employee will be punctual, have a customer service-driven attitude, and be fun to work with. We are entrusted by our customers to be in their homes, and we deeply respect the trust they place in us. As such, our employees are required to pass a criminal background check and illegal drug screening. We frequently do work in places that require all vendor personnel to be vaccinated or have proof of a negative covid test within the past 72 hours. Priority is given to those with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to your starting point in Edmonds. From the office, travel time is paid, and in company vehicles.
