PLEASE APPLY ONLINE USING THE LINK BELOW: Schreiber Foods is seeking a second shift and third shift Forklift Operator at our Distribution Center in De Pere, WI. The second shift role will be working Monday-Friday from 2pm-10pm. The third shift role will be working Sunday-Thursday from 10pm-6am. The second shift position also helps support the Team Facilitator role and could have to work other shifts. The Forklift Operator receives, stores, and distribute products within the Distribution Center. This position makes $22.50/hour after 60 days and is eligible for additional night shift premium pay after six months. In addition, overtime is paid after 8 hours of work in the day. For the night shift role, Sunday hours from 10pm-midnight are paid at double time. Job Duties Operation of Forklift in a safe manner Reads customer order, shipping order, or requisitions to determine products to be moved, gathered, or distributed Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand or by electric forklift. Sorts and places products on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence, size, or product code. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets and conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. Adhere to food safety and partner safety policies and practices Work both individually and as a team member Requirements Computer literacy Effective verbal and written skills Previous forklift operating preferred, but not required Other relevant work experience preferred, but not required Stable work history Schedule/Shifts Second shift job: 8 hour shifts working Monday-Friday primarily 2:00pm-10:00pm but could require some overtime and work other shifts. Third shift job: 8 hour shifts working Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am but could require overtime. In addition, any hours worked on Sunday would be paid at double time. Starting rate is $20.80/hour and after 60 days with certification pay the rate is $22.50/hour. Overtime is paid after 8 hours in the day.
