Accurately designate/locate underground utilities with a strong focus on and knowledge of Gas Distribution Systems Familiarity with multiple types of electromagnetic multi-frequency locate equipment, Ground Penetrating Radar experience is a plus Provide detailed documentation of tasks performed in an organized and efficient manner Ability to understand and interpret utility maps, plans, and as-built drawings Ability to analyze issues and develop solutions that can be implemented while performing tasks in the field Actively work toward obtaining the skills in the certification program required for advancement Ability to work alone and unsupervised Ability to communicate with clients over the phone or in person Ability to document and log daily activities Adherence to company/client safety protocol Other tasks as assigned Requirements - One Call / 811 / "call before you dig" experience highly preferred Gas, utility locating or leak detection experience preferred Natural gas, gas distribution or helper mechanic experience preferred Ability to travel High school diploma or GED certification preferred Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred Basic computer skills are preferred Demonstrates strong and collaborative work ethic Strong communication skills required Our Perks!
