Maintenance 4 - Electrician / 8 Hours / Facilities and Maintenance / Start Date: 02/01/2021 / 12 Month Calendar Per the Oregon State Vaccination Mandate, Hillsboro School District employees must be fully vaccinated or approved for a medical or religious exception prior to the first date of employment. Hiring Administrator: Dave Peterson GENERAL DUTIES: Perform highly skilled maintenance and trades work in District facilities. Coordinate other staff and contractors to complete projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: *High school diploma or its equivalent *Proficient oral and written communication skills in English *Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications *Hold a valid Oregon driver’s license *Hold a valid license related to identified trades *Experience with implementing project blueprints *Knowledge of regulations governing work within identified trades *Knowledge of applicable safety rules and best practices within identified trades *Pass a pre-employment drug test *"Highly Qualified" status preferred (two years of post-secondary education or an associates (or higher) degree; or District approved academic assessment) *Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool) Please note all interested applicants must apply online at www.hsd.k12.or.us please follow link to apply.
