Maintenance 4 - Electrician / 8 Hours / Facilities and Maintenance / Start Date: 02/01/2021 / 12 Month Calendar
Per the Oregon State Vaccination Mandate, Hillsboro School District employees must be fully vaccinated or approved for a medical or religious exception prior to the first date of employment.

GENERAL DUTIES:
Perform highly skilled maintenance and trades work in District facilities. Coordinate other staff and contractors to complete projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*High school diploma or its equivalent
*Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
*Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
*Hold a valid Oregon driver’s license
*Hold a valid license related to identified trades
*Experience with implementing project blueprints
*Knowledge of regulations governing work within identified trades
*Knowledge of applicable safety rules and best practices within identified trades
*Pass a pre-employment drug test
*"Highly Qualified" status preferred (two years of post-secondary education or an associates (or higher) degree; or District approved academic assessment)
*Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool)
