U.S. Linen and Uniform is looking to hire Entry Level Production Employees to work in our Richland plant. Position is responsible for the accurate processing of laundry and mats including using the correct formulas, machines and water temperature to ensure sanitary, high quality cleaning of our products and our customers items. Sorting of laundry by type or customer. May fold items and/or process them through folding machines, may also hang and fold garments. This position will rotate within the plant. Other duties on the production floor may be assigned. Complete understanding of the washing and drying process to ensure product can get out to customers based on set delivery days and times. * Work is repetitive and production oriented, so fast pace is essential. * Maintain safety awareness and follows all safety procedures throughout the warehouse and with the machines. * Must be focused and attentive to details. * Position is physical, must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, turn, push, pull, bend and reach for and lift items constantly during a 10 hour shift. * Must be flexible in work environment, moving from one task to another assisting in folding, packaging as needed. * Must have basic math skills and good verbal skills. * Visual acuity is necessary to detect imperfections in linens and garments and machine discrepancies. * Must be reliable in reporting on time to work each day. * Previous laundry experience is helpful, but not required.
