Seeking advice from a Bass Player

ok, this is going to seem strange. But I figure if anyone could speak to a Bass player's heart, it would be another bass player. I am trying to make contact with a Female Bass Player who hasn't been seen in 17 years. She doesn't live in this town. In fact, not even in this country. She lives in Canada. Canadian privacy laws are a b-tch. I can't even name her because Craig's list is so pain in the butt. But I think you might have guessed who it is I've had a heck of a time trying to find her and make contact with her. So, if you were her and a fan who was desperately in love wanted to attract your attention. What would it take? She is supposed to live a secluded life, and paints draws etc. Getting in touch with her friends might be difficult, her management not so much but they might not be cooperative. A Pod caster who I know who has talked with her management has made it very clear to him that "she will not do an interview. She will not make contact, don't ask again." I am frustrated. I made contact with someone long ago using craigs list and I am willing to try again.
