Icon Golf Cars of Carolina Beach is searching for a golf car technician. We are looking for a full time service technician. If you are looking for a new place to call home and ready to help us grow then we are ready to hire! Expectations for Service Technicians: Required materials/tools, licenses, certificates and availability - Mechanical skills are preferred - MUST HAVE a valid drivers license and clean driving record (no exceptions) - High school diploma or equivalent - Work up to 40 hours/week (9am - 5pm, +/-) Required Skills and Experience - Diagnose gas and electric golf carts - Repairing/replacing tires (8’’-12’’ typically) - Installing seat kits, cargo boxes, and custom light kits - Ability to lift 80lb+ batteries, and cleaning out corroded battery compartments - Inspecting and lubricating golf carts - Identifying parts and preparing estimates for customer consultation Miscellaneous job-related tasks and abilities necessary for consideration in hiring - Willing to complete odd jobs around the shop if necessary - Effective time management and communication so as to complete work within a reasonable time - Communicate to customers (as needed) in a professional manner - Perform custom work as needed - Follow dress and safety standards (appropriate footwear and clothing) Please submit all resumes or question to the noted email.
