Remember in the not so distant past when immediate evidence of appreciation of your physical appearance was offered in the form of a flashed smile from a passing stranger while out in public? Wonder if we will ever get back to that point again where that innocent gesture is an icebreaker of sorts that perhaps will instigate casual conversation that may generate an exchange of contact information that would lead to a continued Q&A session of thought provoking interaction to break up the monotony of routine. Feel free to respond if you are a woman who happens to miss those passing smiles in these days of mandatory face coverings. I for one continue to smile behind my mask hoping that perhaps the sparkle in my eyes will convey the same essence that my inviting smile once did.
