Good Sports - USA is a local 501(c) 3 nonprofit Youth Mentoring Program. We're seeking volunteers/ mentors in the form of high school, college/or professional athletes, trainers, sports physicians, sports officials, coaches, as well as experienced entertainers in music, dance, theater, comedy, etc., who have a compelling story/ are willing to share how sports/ or entertainment influenced their lives. Good Sports - Speak volunteers/ mentors, via their personal experiences, the passion youth have for sports/ or entertainment/ our scheduled presentations in local Leon County Title I Schools/ the Leon County Detention Facility transfer their experiences in sports/ or entertainment into motivating attendance, rules compliance, classroom participation, homework completion/ test taking as necessary ingredients for both their personal/ professional success.
