DAYLIGHT TRANSPORATION NEMT JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
. Transports passengers to and from their appointments as scheduled.
. Provides customer service to all passengers and works well with others.
'Assists passengers with entering and exiting vehicle, as well as walking them to and from their drop-of/pick-up locations while holding the door open.
.Safely and securely operates wheelchair lift.
. Follows all vehicle safety rules and regulations.
. Cleans and prepares vehicle at the end of work shift.
. Notifies supervisor of any supplies needed or mechanical issues.
. Displays effective written and oral communication.
General Accountabilities:
. Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
. Ability to work extended shifts as required.
. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
. Ability to walk, push, pull, bend and go up and down flights of stairs.
Job Qualifications:
. Previous Non-Emergency Transportation experience preferred but not required.
. Must be at least 25 years old no exceptions.
. Valid state driver's license.
. Ability to operate transportation vehicle.
Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required:
Able to work flexible schedule and hours.
. Must be eligible to work in the United States.

. Responds to requests for service and assistance.
. Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner.
. Uses time efficiently and completes work in timely manner.
. Observes safety and security procedures.
. Adapts to changes in the work environment..
. Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
