In recognition of January being Human Trafficking Awareness month Adorned in Grace and Compassion Connect Puget Sound would like to invite you to the first Business Awareness Training and Social.
At this event, law enforcement, the Genesis Project and local survivors will teach you how trafficking may be impacting your business and what you and your team can do to make a difference in the ongoing effort to combat modern day slavery.
From 3:00-5:00 pm you and your team will learn the signs of human trafficking and how it effects your bottom line.
From 5:30-7:30 meet Dawn Morris, a local author who includes a trafficking victim in her book, Fire and Flood, proceeds from which contribute to Adorned in Grace mission of bring awareness and prevention of human trafficking in our communities.
Also presented will be Power Over Predators, a training program for students and parents available to schools, businesses, churches and groups.
Lastly, survivors in Tacoma will share with you their stories of how Adorned in Grace and Compassion Connect Puget Sound has helped them in their healing journey.
