Friday January 21st 2022 at Park Florist (6921 Laurel Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912) $95 per person including materials In-person hands-on class We blow our cabin fever with this beautiful spring flowers around the 2022 new pantone color “Very Peri”! You get to learn some basic techniques on how to choose your materials, cutting and insertions, texture, shape, as well as balance. Washington Flower School is the Washington DC Metro area’s only floral design school for both career and hobby. We are dedicated to mentoring our students just starting their careers, as well as developing skills and concepts needed to meet professional floral industry standards for all levels of floral designers.Whether you take the classes for personal knowledge or a desire to become a professional floral designer, all our classes have something to offer anyone interested in the Floral Arts. We offer a series of classes based on a theme (e.g. Elements of Design, Wedding Flowers, to name a few). You can take one class or take them all. Students who attend these classes in a series will receive a certificate of successful completion. Our faculties are knowlegeable and experienced: Jeanne Ha, AIFD CFD, Terry Godfrey AIFD CFD, Ellen Seagraves, Emmi Bergmann.
