Nevins Principal Bernstein Private Wealth Management Scott Nevins is a senior investment advisor at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. He provides asset allocation and wealth planning advice to high net worth individuals, family offices, business owners, endowments, foundations and entrepreneurs. Prior to Bernstein, Scott was the CEO of seven (7) successful early to mid-stage financial service and technology service companies. He completed fourteen rounds of financing (angel investors and venture capital). He began his career at GE Capital initially on the technology side and then on the sales side. Having been a leader in a variety of organizations at different stages of growth. Scott has keen insight on the leader’s need for self-awareness, on hiring and building capable teams, knowing how/when to ask for help, techniques for incenting a team to perform, as well as the qualities and character traits that enable effective communications, delegation and succession planning. He mentors CEOs on a regular basis helping them “think out of the box” and succeed. Scott serves on a number of boards including Angel Investor Forum (AIF, CT’s largest group of angel investors), Association of Corporate Growth, World Affairs Forum, Men’s Club of Jewish Senior Services of CT, among others.
