TEENS creating real change for real issues facing our communities! What does it mean to you...to live FREE?? What does it mean to live FREE?? What does it mean for TEENS to live free from the injustices impacting YOU and our communities alike? Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and our partners for the #OurLivesMatter TEEN Campaign's 7th Annual TEEN Summit! TEENS, grades 8-12 will sound off about Racial Justice, Educational Justice, Community Justice and Climate Justice. YOU will be creating real and actionable steps that TEENS across the DMV and beyond can utilize to create sustainable change! You don't have a seat at the table...it's YOUR table! This year's Summit is presented in partnership with our friends: WHUT (Howard University Television), The Black Swan Academy and The Community Enrichment Project. COVID-19 PROTOCOL ALERT: Based on guidelines provided by THEARC, all participants attending this event, must: Wear a mask at all times while on THEARC's campus. Masks will be available.Provide, onsite, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test from no more than the last 72 hours. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who need us most, build confidence, develop character and acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults.
