Description

What can we do to change this rising anxiety trend and support our girls on their journey to wellness? Teen and adolescent girls feel life’s pressures from all directions. Though anxiety is common among all age groups and genders, teenage girls struggle with anxiety more than any other group. The National Institute of Mental Health (2020 study) found that 38% of adolescent girls manage anxiety disorders, and this number does not even include the many girls who suffer without being identified. There are effective ways to manage and treat anxiety symptoms. For All Seasons, Beth Anne Langrell, and Chief Clinical Officer, Lesa Lee, will explore the challenges our girls face and the ways we can support them on their journey to feeling stronger and better than ever. With knowledge and strategies, young women gain the tools they need to thrive. For All Seasons operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-sectarian organization established in the Mid-Shore area to assist individuals, groups, and communities by providing trauma certified Mental Health and Psychiatry Services, Rape Crisis Services including advocacy and crisis hotlines, and education and outreach to the community.
