Come join us for an introductory course on TinkerCAD! Beginner Interested in bringing unique ideas into the three-dimensional world? 3-D Modeling allows learners to better understand shapes, communicate their concepts, and produce designs for machines like 3-D printers. TinkerCAD is a great place to start regardless of one’s age. This simple-to-use web-app is free and a great introduction to the world of 3-D modeling. Come learn with us about TinkerCAD and how it can be used to create models for 3-D Printing. The Fabville Fabrication Laboratory is housed at Somerville High School in a newly designed Engineering classroom which offers a dynamic co-working space comprised of daytime high school classes and afterschool programs for students and adults. When you arrive at the main entrance of the school, you will be greeted by a door monitor and directed downstairs slightly to the right as you enter. At the bottom of the stairs hang a left and you will have found FabVille. In order to ensure the safety of students and community members alike, all users must fill out a membership form before visiting FabVille. Bring your student or government-issued ID with you when visiting FabVille. Thank you
