I have a court case which should have been an open and closed case. However my attorney has not been communicative with me through out the process of the case. He has not filed papers asked to be filed before. I have been charged for encounters that were me multiple times trying to reach out to him for information regarding my case in different forms without a response. This last sitution has been the last straw for me. I was to have pretrial or so I thought. I was not informed of the respondents attorneys documents submitted asking for a continuance. So instead of a pretrial there was a status hearing. Still I have heard nothing from my attorney. I only found this out by going to the court house my self and asking. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I don't have the funds to pay yet another retainer. I don't know what to do. I'm at a loss. Please any advice would be helpful.
