Join us for a night of murder, mystery, great food and an optional ghost hunt! Join us for an evening of mystery, murder, food and for this evening- an optional ghost hunt! What else is there to do on a cold winter night? Gather your friends and family for a murder mystery dinner! Since the theme of the evening will be a "haunted mansion," we will also hold a ghost hunt afterwards- with limited availability. Here is the synopsis for the evening... The historical Anonville Manor closed for business years ago because of a desperate need for restoration and daft rumors of ghost hauntings. The previous owners abandoned the rundown property, never turning back. A secretive entrepreneur purchased the old bed & breakfast. The property has undergone renovations, and the owner announced to the media that the manor is free of paranormal activity, and has been restored to the pristine caliber of the good ole’ days when the estate was frequented by the rich and famous. The proprietor has chosen to remain anonymous, but the townsfolk have found that choice to be quite mysterious. An exclusive group of guests have received invitations to the grand opening dinner party to be held in the legendary Majestic Ballroom of the estate. You are on the guest list. You are intrigued, but apprehensive, as not everybody on the invite list gets along well, and sparks could fly. This is where your story begins. The menu for the evening has not been decided, but please continue to follow us, as we will post the menu soon! This event will start promptly at 6pm, so please arrive a little early to get situated. Then the evening will go a little like this: 5:30- 6pm Gossip Round 6-6:45pm Round One Drinks 6:45-7:45pm Round Two Dinner and Murder 7:45-8:30pm Round Three Investigation 9pm- 11pm Ghost Hunt ***Rooms are available for the evening, please call us at 804-517-7411 to see room availability*** We will also have a choice of three complimentary drinks for the evening. However the drinks are a surprise, so we can't tell you what they are until the night of the murder! After your drink tokens are gone, drinks will be available to purchase. If you have specific nutritional needs due to a medical condition, please inform us at least 7 days before the event. We can not make last minute changes to the menu. Tickets to the murder mystery and dinner are $75 each- and NO NOT INCLUDE A GHOST HUNT. If you'd like to also attend the ghost hunt the cost is $20 per person and spots are extremely limited- to keep the experience more fun! The ghost hunt will take place on the 3 upper levels of the original portion of the house only.  The Hyco Manor House is a historical property located in the heart of Mathews County VA. Built in 1836, the Hyco Manor once served as a local doctors office, an inn and a private residence. Today this beautiful property is used as an event venue for all to enjoy, hosting weddings, parties, and teas.
