Description

Make Valentine's Day cards to share with local Meals on Wheels clients at the Robbins Library in Arlington, Mass. Last year, we made more than 200 Valentine’s Day cards (see picture above for just some of them!) for local clients of Meals on Wheels, who are living alone. And we did it all remotely! This year, we will be together in person. Join us for a fun class, where we’ll make Valentine cards to send and to share. Working with card stock in different colors, handmade and patterned papers, stickers and hearts, you'll create 6-10 unique Valentine cards. All you will need to provide are any additional materials you would like to use. We’ll provide scissors, tape and/or glue sticks. Registration is required, as audience size will be limited to 2. Tables and chairs will be spaced to adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Attendees must also wear masks. The event is supported by the Barry Fund. Plug In provides programming for 50+ adults entering their encore years. This Robbins Library (Arlington, Mass.) series is made possible by The John F. Barry and Margaret O’C. Barry Memorial Fund.
