Join Clifford Louie, who has been managing and leading book discussion groups at the Anza and the Richmond public libraries for over 12 years. He will introduce and lead discussions at the Clarion on "short" non-fictional and fictional readings of all sorts of topics. By "short," he means readings that are essays, short stories, and excerpts from books about 5-40 pages long. For this session, "Lifeboat Ethics: The Case Against Helping the Poor" by Garrett Hardin will be discussed. The essay should yield a spirited discussion! About the Venue Clarion Performing Arts Center is a hidden gem in the heart of Chinatown.
