Healing happens best in community. Come join ours. #BlackgirlBookClub offers workshops that help explore the complexities of being black. As we move into the end of the year, it’s a good idea to get ahead of the game and dedicate time to reflection. In order to get you ready, #BlackgirlBookClub has put together a complete guide to end of year reflection with functional tips for those looking to improve their relationship with self. How we will engage: Community Building Reflection based activities to explore the events of 2021 Intentional Planning and Goal Setting for 2022 We will spend time exploring What Mindfulness means,How Mindfulness improves your emotional intelligence, and How to use Mindfulness to boost overall satisfaction while centering the expeiences of being black in the wellness space. And so much more! Ticket price includes Cocktail Hour Workshop #BlackgirlBookClub merch Health & Safety Policies This year we will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken up to 72 hours prior to entry. We require that your PCR or Antigen test is taken no earlier than Thursday if you’re attending Sunday. At-home testing and antibody tests will not be approved. All those 4 and older, who have not been vaccinated, will require a negative test in order to attend the event. For more information on where to find free testing please click the link here. We encourage you to get tested prior to arrival. If that is not an option, on-site rapid testing will be available at the price of $59. Testing will be available starting at 2PM and test results will be available within 15-20 minutes. Once a negative test has been determined you will receive a wristband that states your negative status. In the event that your test comes back positive we will roll your ticket(s) over to the a future event. We will accept a physical copy or photo of your covid test or vaccination card along with matching ID (kids are not required to show ID). Please remember that data service is may be unreliable on site so digital proof needs to be stored to your phone's physical hard drive. In order to be considered “fully vaccinated” you must receive your final vaccine dose 14 days prior to the event.
