Come celebrate the launch of Abbie's new book: M is for Mama! Grab a friend (or three!) and join us for food, fun, and festivities. The goal of M is for Mama: A Rebellion Against Mediocre Motherhood is to light a fire of revolution in the heart of every God-fearing, child-loving mama who reads it. To celebrate its release into the world, we're throwing a party, and you're invited! Join us for an evening of: 5-6 PM: Mix, mingle, snack on delicious Sola Bread Co. hors d'oeuvres, get your book signed, and relax. 6-7 PM: Walk a few feet across the parking lot to Living Acts Church where Abbie will speak on "Reclaiming Our Children from a Godless Culture." Q&A to follow. 7-8 PM: Enjoy a scrumptious buffet of assorted Sola Bread Co. artisanal wood-fired flatbread pizzas, tabbouleh salad, spinach artichoke dip with house-made baguettes, and fresh mini almond croissants for dessert. There will be live music and lots of new friends to meet! *We will also have an espresso + hot chocolate bar on site (for cash) and the opportunity to purchase beverages from True Vine Brewery next door. A COUPLE OF IMPORTANT NOTES: East Texas is a fickle beast when it comes to weather. Be sure to bring at least a light layer to throw on as most of the event will be in open air. Also, don't forget to bring cash for drink purchases! We regret that we cannot accommodate any special menu requests and that we are not able to separate out the food from the ticket price. We promise the price of admission is still worth it! ;) Note: there will be no refunds, but you can, of course, sell/pass on your ticket, in the event of an unexpected conflict. This is a non-profit event. All profits will be donated to Living Alternatives--a multi-faceted ministry here in East Texas that cares for woman experiencing unplanned pregnancies and their babies after birth.
