Employee engagement is an issue; it's too low and what are leaders doing about it? Giving $25 gift cards for people working overtime 30 days straight, firing 900 people on Zoom, threatening their jobs with or without reason.
We can and must do better if we hope to have employees who care and are engaged. The secret is to understand how to avoid the disengagement by watching for signs of burnout. Better yet - don't let the signs of burnout show up at all.
