Support area nurses by contributing to the "Celebrate Nursing Banquet" presented by the Metrolina Council of Nursing Organizations. The Metrolina Council of Nursing Organizations (MCONO), founded in 1986, exists for the sole purpose of celebrating the nursing profession. For 35 years, except for 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID pandemic, the organization hosted a “Celebrate Nursing Banquet”. At these banquets, nurses are pampered with hors d’oeuvres as they stroll through exhibits, a formal dinner, door prizes and inspired by the words of a motivational speaker. In the past, the event was funded by contributions from area hospitals, physicians, businesses, and the exhibitors that pay for table space AND by the nurses themselves. Our next banquet is May 12, 2022, at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Charlotte, NC. This year we felt it appropriate to invite anyone and everyone that has benefitted from the skills and compassion of a nurse to recognize and show appreciation to the nursing profession by contributing to the banquet or to a particular nurse. Contributions of ANY amount will be greatly appreciated. $50.00 (1 nurse) = Essential Sponsor $150.00 (3 nurses) = Bronze Sponsor $300.00 (6 nurses) = Silver Sponsor $500.00 (10 nurses) = Gold Sponsor $750.00 (15 nurses) = Platinum Sponsor The Metrolina Council of Nursing Organizations  (MCONO) was founded in 1986 by a coalition of local nursing organization's presidents who began to plan for an annual "Celebrate Nursing" banquet for the greater Charlotte area.
