Arts and Crafts for Seniors (ages 60 and over). Class will utilize terra cotta, glass, paper, wood, and other products. Some examples of our final projects include bird baths, bird feeders, ornaments, and glass totem poles. Fee: $25/month (2 classes) Class Size: Maximum - 10 Schedule: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. No classes in July or December. Materials: The participant is responsible for purchasing and bringing their own supplies to class. A list will be provided at time of registration. Location: Riverfront Community Center Waiver:Payment to attend this activity/class means you agree to the following: "I hereby give my authorization for participation in the activities of the above-named recreation activity or class. I assume all risks incidental to the conduct of the activities or class and release, absolve, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of Leavenworth Parks & Recreation Department, the sponsors and supervisors. Further, in case of injury, I hereby waive all claims against the City of Leavenworth, its sponsors, or any supervisors appointed to them.Photographs and videos taken by the City during the activity will be used for marketing purposes by the Parks & Recreation Department and will become the property of the City of Leavenworth.
