Come out, volunteer, and join us in making our community healthy, beautiful, and safe. San Bernardino Fatherhood provides educational services, resources and activities to increase fathers' awareness, knowledge and skills in being the best fathers possible. A tree planting event provides fathers and families with an opportunity to lead their children in an educational and empowering experience that will make positive changes in their community and living environment for future generations. A community that once thrive with orange orchards ad dairy farms has now succumb to multiple acres of concrete warehouses in San Bernardnio and its surrounding communities. This has resulted in poor air quality for our children and families, warmer temperatures in our regions and a disruption of in local natural resources and animal habitat. San Bernardino Fatherhood’s project, Fathers and Families Creating Urban Forestry, objective is to empower fathers and families to take an active and involved role in educating their children and others to improving their communities and living environment by planting trees. Our goal is to plant at least shade or canopy trees in the communities of San Bernardino and Highland under the partnership and collaboration of like-minded individuals, businesses, and groups. San Bernardino Fatherhood is a 501(c) (3), non-profit, charitable organization that is committed to “Helping children and strengthening families by equipping Dads”. San Bernardino Fatherhood's mission is: “To eliminate fatherlessness in San Bernardino by promoting a culture of father inclusion and responsible fatherhood in our communities. This mission will be accomplished in collaboration with local schools, community partners, faith-based organizations and public and private agencies.” San Bernardino Fatherhood's vision is: “A society where children thrive, families are strong and communities are safe as a result of responsible fathering. Services and Resources offered by San Bernardino Fatherhood includes: Parenting (Fathering) education  Domestic Violence Advocacy & Prevention  Fathering education  Men support groups Child support information and guidiance  Child welfafe support Family reunifiction support Mentoring and advocacy  Case Management (as needed) "Dad's Club" support in local schools  Community outreach, workshop trainings and social service referrals. Organizing/promoting "father-friendly" social activities and commnity events.
