One Day, One Basket Saturday, January 29, 2022 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Instructor: Jennifer Williams Serve your favorite muffins, buns or cookies in this useful basket or use it to store mail, CD's or odds and ends. In this workshop you will spend a few hours making a Muffin/Bread Basket. You will create something natural & beautiful, enduring & strong, and feel the satisfaction of making it yourself. In an ever complex world it is very grounding to get back to basics and make by hand a product that is both useful and beautiful. A supply fee of $25.00 per student needs to be paid directly to the instructor at class. All supplies and tools will be provided by the instructor. So, why not come and join the fun, in addition to accomplishing a new skill set or hobby? Please, sign up early, as class seating is limited. Jennifer is a passionate weaver. She has spent many years studying handweaving and basket weaving. She believes the act of weaving a basket is as much an art as the finished basket. There is nothing better than getting lost in the rhythm of shaping a basket. Jennifer teaches basket weaving to share the art of the time honored craft as well as to hopefully share the joy of basket making Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request.
