Caretaker Needed (Friday Harbor, San Juan Island) Perfect for a Retired Nurse or Any Kind Caring Person! Come to San Juan Island and live on a classic wooden boat. The best spot in Friday Harbor. Walk to everywhere! I need someone to prepare meals and clean up the galley for me and grocery shop and do errands and a few chores in exchange for room and board on my boat. You have lots of open time to explore the island and make new friends. I'm 85 and have left sided weakness due to a stroke 3 years ago. I get around well aboard and am a retired boat captain and professor. Orina, (name of this ship, "Peace" in Greek), this beautiful floating home, is docked closest to the shore at the Port of Friday Harbor Marina. 64' long and 18' wide. First boat on the right, a 5 minute walk from the ferry. Cozy and very comfortable. Room for privacy. You will have a private cabin with a private head. Complete galley and all of the comforts of home. I need you the last of January or sooner for an extended time. Island cruises possible. Alaska through the Inside Passage next summer possible.
