FREE EVENT - REGISTRATION OPENS 2/10/2022Ever wonder what’s off the trail at Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area? Come slog through the wetlands with ERM staff at Palm Beach County's largest natural area and see what wonders are hiding off the beaten path. This will be a 1.5 mile hike with knee deep water in some locations, so you may want to bring a towel and some dry clothes/shoes for after the hike.
Please meet at 12:30 pm at Karen T. Marcus Sandhill Crane Access Park, 8175 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, 33418 https://goo.gl/maps/FqJRdzQpw9n. Restroom facilities are available at the Access Park.
Details/What to bring:
Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty/wet.Bring water sun protection and bug sprayBring water and a water bottle.Be prepared for a fun, wet outdoor activity. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, a dry bag and comfortable, appropriate clothing that will get wet. Masks are required for all participants (regardless of vaccination status) that are not able to maintain social distancing.
