WIMAUMA, FL —Police have begun a suspicious death investigation after a dead body was found over the weekend in a wooded area in Wimauma, a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office news release said. Officers said the body had been discovered just after 7:20 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Crestview Road and Citrus Bottom Lane. The identity is unknown by detectives, and the death appears suspicious according to deputies.
