FRAMINGHAM, MA — The free, walk-up coronavirus testing site at St. Tarcisius Parish in Framingham will have reduced hours over Christmas and New Year's, according to a city spokesperson. Many residents may be heading out to get PCR tests ahead of holiday gatherings, and as the omicron and delta variants continue to spread across the region. If you're looking for a test over the next two weeks, here's what to expect: Dec. 23 — 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Christmas Eve — ClosedChristmas Day — ClosedDec. 30 — 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.New Year's Eve — ClosedNew Year's Day — Closed Residents need to make an appointment to get a free test at St. Tarcisius. Framingham's Public Health Nursing Clinic offers free rapid tests to residents. That clinic will be closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The clinic is not open on weekends. The nearby free PCR testing site at the Ashland commuter rail station will also have different hours over the holidays.
