We have Full Time and Part Time positions open - Our staff usually comes in at 8:45 and finishes there day at 5:30-- 6 PM Mon--Fri we work one saturday per month 1/2 day 10am -2:15 pm In this position, you'll specialize in delivering and installing new mattresses, removing old sets (occasional other delivery tasks). You'll rely on your people skills and product knowledge to assist customers and answer their questions. As a Best Mattress Home Delivery Driver, you will provide customers with the kind of service that makes us #1 in the Midlands! You'll be responsible to create a customer experience that builds a lasting relationship and ensures Best Mattress of repeat future sales. Key Responsibilities: - Timely daily delivery routes - Deliver new products and remove old products from customer homes - Make product connections, ensure functionality and instruct customers on use - Maintain truck and arrange for its maintenance - Complete job related paperwork and truck logbook - good team player and able to "go with the flow" Bad tempers need not apply Basic Qualifications: - At least 20 years of age - Must have valid South Carolina driver's license and able to pass background check. - Must be able to lift and move heavy objects weighing 50-- 100 lbs --on items over 75 lbs you will have a helper - EXCELLENT interpersonal skills - Must be non-smoker (unacceptable to have smoke odor entering client's homes and around newly made/purchased mattress) Apply IN PERSON at the following specified times (no phone calls) to Best Mattress Company, 713 Meeting Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 or Best Mattress 2930 Devine Street Columbia the following hours ONLY Monday 9--6:15 Tuesday 10:00--5:30 Wednesday 9 -5:30pm Thursday 10-5:30pm Friday 9-5:30pm
