SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests: On 12/13/2021 at 10:20 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36 year old male of Englewood, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Montvale, NJ in the amount of $500. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. On 12/14/2021 at 1:02 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 40 year old male of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ with no bail. He was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and officers from the Bayonne Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of him for transport to their authority. On 12/14/2021 at 1:01 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40 year old male, Omar Ortega of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle [2C:36-6A]. Mr. Ortega was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On 12/16/2021 at 7:13 PM, officers from the NJ Transit Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 60 year old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On 12/17/2021 at 3:46 AM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle stopped on the shoulder area of NJ Route 3 West. During the investigation, the police arrested a 43 year old male of Easton, PA for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult. On 12/19/2021 at 10:29 AM, officers from the NJ Transit Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 34 year old male of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100. The Secaucus Municipal Court released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody. On 12/19/2021 at 11:21 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male of the Bronx, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Franklinville, NJ in the amount of $501. The Franklinville Municipal Court released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date. He was issued 6 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
