Press release from City of Fort Worth:
December 20, 2021
The Fort Worth Public Library will host a special class on the ABCDs of Medicare at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Southwest Regional Library and via Zoom.
Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 and older, certain younger people with disabilities and people with end-stage renal disease.
When it comes to health coverage, selecting the right plan can be a stressful and overwhelming experience. Led by Medicare expert Ellie Saul, the ABCDs of Medicare class will focus on walking participants through the information needed to make informed decisions about their Medicare options.
The free class will be presented in a hybrid format, both online and in-person at the Southwest Regional Library, 4001 Library Lane. Register for the online version.
The Library will host an additional ABCDs of Medicare class in September 2022.
Over the past decade, Saul has been teaching Medicare classes and helping financial advisers with health protection analysis for their clients. Saul believes teaching about Medicare is her calling and that there is no "one size fits all" solution. She is passionate about providing educational resources for her students without promoting a specific company or product in her class. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic, she teaches with simple illustrations and relevant stories to make learning the ABCDs of Medicare fun.
