POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The owners of Shore House are set to go before the Point Pleasant Planning Board to seek permission to build an addition onto the Route 88 restaurant. The Planning Board meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday in the borough council chambers at Borough Hall on Bridge Avenue. The public notice says the proposal is for a 576-square-foot addition that will house the kitchen for the restaurant. The proposed addition would eliminate three parking spaces. In addition, the owner is seeking permission to build a third single-family home on the site. The proposal needs several variances, most of which relate to previously existing conditions, including minimum lot size.
