Free COVID-19 Testing Locations Added In Hoboken This Week

HOBOKEN, NJ — The city of Hoboken has partnered with Bespoke Health to add 3,000 more free COVID-19 tests this week "to keep up with the increased demand for testing," the city said late Sunday night. They will give up to 1,000 PCR tests each of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Eight People Hoboken, Seven Unvaccinated: Read More Here Anyone seeking a test is reminded that 5-7 days should pass from the date of a COVID-19 exposure, with the exception if symptoms are developed, before getting tested, the city said. Anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Hoboken will be eligible for testing. The cost of testing will be covered for anyone without health insurance. Testing will take place through Bespoke at the Multi-Service Center gymnasium (124 Grand St.) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. After Hoboken's hospital went nearly two months without a coronavirus patient, the city reported six people hospitalized with the virus two weeks ago, and by this weekend, the number had climbed to eight — seven of them unvaccinated, the city reported Saturday.
