PROVIDENCE, RI — With the Christmas just a few days away and coronavirus cases climbing in Rhode Island, health officials are urging everyone who is eligible to get their vaccine booster dose.
Boosters are available to everyone aged 16 and older, who received their second two-dose vaccine at least six months ago, or their single-dose Johnson and Johnson shot at least two months ago.
In an effort to get as many Rhode Islanders boosted before Christmas as possible, Gov. Dan McKee announced several clinics across the state for Tuesday.
