Press release from the McHenry County Government: 12/20/2021 8:30 AM PRESS RELEASE  December 20, 2021 CONNOR FREISE SENTENCED TO FOUR AND ONE-HALF YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR THE OFFENSE OF POSSESSION OF A STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State's Attorney, announces that Connor Freise, 27, of McHenry, Illinois, was sentenced to four and one-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Honorable Judge Robert Wilbrandt after pleading guilty to Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, a Class 2 Felony, on December 16, 2021. On April 3, 2021, Freise took a car belonging to a family member without the owner's permission. He drove the car to Chicago to pawn stolen items and left the car in Chicago. This case was investigated by the McHenry County Sheriff's Department. This case was prosecuted by Brian Miller of the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office. ##### This press release was produced by the McHenry County Government.
