Here are the top 3 stories today in Cleveland: The Center Street Bridge in Cleveland will be closed starting the first full week of January. The bridge, which stretches over the Cuyahoga River, will be closed between Merwin Avenue and Riverbed Street starting the morning of Jan. 3 through October 2022. Drivers who make use of the bridge will be detoured along Main Avenue to W. 25th Street to Columbus Road. (Cleveland Patch)Crews from the Cleveland Fire Department responded to a Tuesday morning blaze at a home on the West side of the city. The fire was reported around 9 a.m. on West 35th Street in an occupied home; though two people were displaced in the incident, no injuries were reported. According to the department, an electrical issue likely caused the fire. (Cleveland 19 News)Airbnb is cracking down on New Year's Eve parties in Northeast Ohio. On Monday, Airbnb released its newest New Year's Eve guidelines, which stated that guests without a history of positive reviews would be prohibited from making reservations for three nights or less. The crackdown on New Year's Eve bookings does not only apply to Northeast Ohio; it's a nationwide initiative, partly influenced by the feedback of local Airbnb hosts.
