Tucker-Kirby Company in Apex, NC is currently seeking an experienced driver. This open position will deliver construction materials to customer projects around the region. CDL Class B License with clean driving record is required and hazmat endorsements are perferred. Must have 2 years of varifiable CDL straight truck experience. Applicants must be capable of lifting 95 lbs and operate a forklift. No weekends and home every night. Please call for an interview. General Summary • Pulling and staging customer orders • Operate forklift safely and responsibly • Loading and Unloading of trucks • Driving Delivery Trucks to Jobsites • Checking orders for accuracy • Interactions with Customers on Site • Shipping and Receiving • Sweeping and cleaning warehouse • Other warehouse duties assigned by supervisor Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • CDL Class B Driver's License required • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and supervisor • Ability to accomplish all assigned duties efficiently and accurately • Experience operating a forklift preferred • Regular and timely attendance required • Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. Physical Demands: • Be able to reach over head • Be able to lift up to 95lbs throughout a work day. • Be able to work in cold or hot conditions Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive pay • Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm • Employment Type: Driver, Full-Time • Paid Time Off plus paid holidays
