Project Manager / Estimator Zanescapes is seeking a skilled, motivated estimator to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for surveying projects, estimating labor and materials costs, and communicating financial cost and project timelines to customers. We are all about teamwork! You must have a strong work ethic and attention to detail is a must. Applicants must have good communication skills. A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required. We offer competitive pay to the right individual. Paid training will be provided. Estimator Duties and Responsibilities • Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment • Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors • Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame • Assessing the risk levels associated with a project • Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done • Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers • Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs • Drive to job sites and take measurements to be used for quotes and fabrication • Provide project drawings to be used for estimates • Communicate information about job details and changes to office personnel • Ability and willingness to train others. Estimator Requirements and Qualifications • Voluntary certification in the field is a plus • Previous on-the-job training is a big plus • Ability to operate independently or with a crew • Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal • Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills • Time management skills •
