Child Development and Family Support Programs at Mt. Hood Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Facilities and Environmental Safety Manager. Supervises and provides quality maintenance, and repair services for Head Start/Early Head Start facilities in compliance with all college, federal, state and local regulations. Position is also responsible for implementation and maintenance of safety guidelines and regulations.. The minimum qualifications for this position are: Associate’s Degree in a related field Two years’ experience in facilities maintenance and repair OR a combination of technical school course work and experience equivalent to at least three or more years of facilities maintenance responsibilities. One year supervisory experience Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds on a daily basis and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, without assistance Experience working with diverse backgrounds of the College’s community, students and employees; demonstrated commitment to promoting access and diversity Current drivers license, insurance and access to reliable automobile during work hours for transportation to off-campus sites Please note: This is a self-screening system.
